
Lou oversees all Cypress Residential operations, including acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and investor relations. With nearly 15 years of multifamily real estate experience and more than $2.8B+ in transaction volume, he brings a disciplined, institutional approach paired with hands-on operating expertise across the full investment lifecycle.
He has led the end-to-end execution of investments—from sourcing and underwriting through acquisition, repositioning, and disposition—and has been directly responsible for driving strategy, capital deployment, and transaction execution across multiple platforms. Prior to forming Cypress, Lou led acquisitions and investment execution at Azure Partners ($2.1B+ across 6,000 units), Ashcroft Capital ($400M+ across 1,400 units), and P3 Properties, where he defined investment strategy and delivered over $230M in acquisitions totaling nearly 1,000 units.
Separately, he oversaw asset management and property-level execution across a combined portfolio of nearly 20,000 units at Azure Partners and Ashcroft Capital, implementing business plans and operational strategies to drive performance and value creation at scale.
Lou holds a B.S. in Economics from Montclair State University, where he was also a member of the NCAA baseball team. He is an active member of NMHC and ULI and serves on the Montclair State University Real Estate Advisory Board.

Vaughn oversees all operations, capital markets activities, and investor relations, leveraging nearly 15 years of sales experience with family offices and high net worth individuals. His expertise in capital formation ensures strong, trust-based partnerships that drive long-term value.
Prior to his real estate career, Vaughn held senior leadership roles across sales, strategy, and operations. At Dexis Imaging in New York, he led regional sales across Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island, building and scaling a high-performing enterprise client platform while consistently exceeding revenue targets. Earlier, as Strategy & Procurement Director at ProSmile, he oversaw procurement and facilities operations across a 100+ location footprint, driving operational efficiencies and meaningful cost savings through strategic vendor management and system-wide optimization.
Vaughn holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics from Rutgers University and an M.S. in Environmental Management from Montclair State University. Vaughn has also been a licensed Real Estate Agent in New Jersey since 2021.
